So here it is! A bit of blogging webspace to call my own so that I can share my handcrafted jewellery with you.

I use all kinds of materials: various glass beads, Swarovski crystals, pearls and gemstones and various metals. (I especially like 14k gold-filled and vermeil, sterling silver and copper...)

I have an online shop on Etsy and I accept custom orders, as well.

Alors, voilà! Un petit blog afin de vous tenir au courant de ce qui se passe chez Miel Designs.

J'utilise des pièces de toute sortes : verre de Bohème, verre indien, cristaux de Swarovski, perles de métaux divers (j'affectionne particulièrement le cuivre, l'argent 925 et l'or doublé) et perles, euh, en perle.
J'ai une petite boutique en ligne chez Etsy. De plus, j'accepte toujours les travaux sur commande.

Basalt Bracelet!

Here are a few pics of a custom cuff bracelet I'm making for a client.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, considering its size. It is 2" wide. I had to make the separator bars myself, as I couldn't, for the life of me, find any long enough to accomodate the 16mm lava beads. So I got out some sturdy 20g sterling silver wire and curlicued away on my wig-jig.

I've sent off a few pics of the bracelet to said client and am now waiting to read her reaction. Hopefully, she'll like it. But if not, I've got a few more ideas up my sleeve...
